MK Lib Dems have presented a motion to MK Council calling for a public consultation into the possible use of wheelie bins to replace the current black and clear sacks, for discussion on Wednesday 17th July 2019.
Councillor Kerrie Bradburn (left) has been out talking to residents about possible ways improve council services in Milton Keynes, including asking about residents views about a possible move to wheelie bins.
At the full council meeting at the Civic Offices tomorrow night, MK Lib Dems will bring forward a motion asking the council to carry out a full review of the use of wheelie bins to replace the current back/clear sack system.
The public are welcome to attend the debate. The council meeting starts at 7:30pm.
Members of the public who want to address the council from the public gallery are free to do so.
If you wish to speak about this motion, arrive at 7:00pm and register as a speaker with the council officer in attendance.
We have listened to what you have been telling us, and think that now is the time to consider changing in a structured and organised way.
Some key points for considering a possible change.
