Challenge to decision to consult on building on Springfield and Downs Barn green spaces

There will be a meeting at the Council on Thursday 26th February at 7:30 pm where Ric Brackenbury's challenge to the decision to consult on building on 3 green spaces on Springfield and Downs Barn will be considered. The original decision was taken by the Labour Cabinet member but this committee meeting will involve councillors from all political parties. They will decide whether to ask the Labour Cabinet member to reconsider his decision. The meeting is public - anyone can attend.

Residents in Springfield should also look carefully at the Campbell Park Parish Council neighbourhood plan consultation and respond to their suggestions as to where houses could be built in future.
