30 Hour Per Week Childcare Finally Being Delivered After Lib Dem Pressure

After Liberal Democrat pressure (see here), the Government website set up for parents to register for free childcare is now working. Many MK parents have registered for the Government's new 30-hour free childcare scheme but not taken up places yet. Most local providers are taking part, and there is a list on the MK Council website here:

For parents to order the extra childcare, they need to get a code from the Government's website, and that wasn't working. Following pressure by Liberal Democrats in Parliament the website is now working and parents can get their codes.
