Newport Pagnell North and Hanslope Ward

The team support residents with issues across Newport Pagnell North, Hanslope, Redhouse Park, Castlethorpe, Haversham, Long Street, Stoke Goldington, Gayhurst, Little Linford and Tathall End.

My Name is Scott Humphries, I've lived in and around Newport Pagnell all my life. My family has been in the area many years, primarily Newport Pagnell, originating in the surrounding villages of Hanslope, Castlethorpe, North Crawley and New Bradwell.

I was schooled in Newport Pagnell at Cedars School, then Ousedale.

I worked locally for the Post Office for many years before going into Adult Education where I worked to become a qualified Electrician. I’ve worked on the Railways and Highways nationwide.

I’m active in the local community with nearly 10 years as a Volunteer, and currently vice chair of NP Christmas Lights. Proudly one of the largest events of its kind in the town Calendar. In 2016 I formed the NP Chit Chat Facebook group, one of the most successful community Facebook groups within the MK area.

I’m a councillor at Town Council level, and sit on Sub groups relating to Planning and also Town Events, helping to put on Town shows such as the highly successful Vintage Event, and upcoming coronation event.
