The pagoda in Blakelands playground has been removed for safety reasons.

Milton Keynes Council has repaired this on many occasions, but it has never lasted for long.

A consultation on the future of the Pagoda decided that it should be removed and replaced with alternative items; thus saving money in repairs and improve safety.

Great Linford Parish Council has arranged for a local company to repair and repaint the benches before the end of April and landscaping is to be carried out later in the year.
