Thanks to Cllr Jane Carr progress is at last has being made on investigating the planning permission for the Blakelands warehouse. Milton Keynes Council has agreed there must be a new investigation. To ensure it is independent it will be lead by a QC (Queen's Counsel) which is the right thing to do.

Queen's Counsel are senior barristers, so are very experienced. Jane Carr says "Residents need answers. They have waited far too long. Cllr Paul Alexander and I have consistently supported requests for a professional investigation into what happened. There can be nothing better than the evidence being subject to cross examination by an experienced barrister."

Jane Carr added; "All the political parties agreed, so residents can trust the outcome. We remain opposed to 24/7 operations and any changes to the restrictions on noise levels."
