Lib Dem Group Leader, Cllr Douglas McCall said; "It was with great sadness that I heard of the death this morning of former Labour councillor, Mayor and MP Brian White.

Brian served the city of Milton Keynes for many years and was respected across the political divide. He was recognised and a hard working constituency MP.

I remember when he was an MP him hosting my family for a tour of the House of Commons.

When he was MP he worked closely with councillors, including those of other political parties, for the benefit of the residents of Milton Keynes.
