Lib Dem Focus Team Ward Councillors for Newport Pagnell South have been inundated with complaints about the damaged islands/refuges on Marsh End Road, Newport Pagnell.

They were damaged a couple of months ago and the islands are now unlit giving rise to risk for motorists.

Meetings have been held with senior officers from the Milton Keynes Council and numerous e-mails have been sent.

Unfortunately the Council does not seem to treat this seriously.

Since the islands have been damaged two, non-serious, accidents have occurred.

The Focus Team continues to pressure the Council for action.

Only one of the damaged islands is pictured.
