The Council will be forced to make an additional £14M worth of cuts in its upcoming budget, due to cuts in grants from the Conservative Government, and this on top on the many millions of cuts already made. The Liberal Democrats will do all they can to ensure that the most vulnerable in our society are least affected and we will do all we can to protect our environment.

One of the services at risk from the cuts are grit bins. The snow in December showed us the importance of grit bins. The Labour run Council is proposing to stop refilling these. The Lib Dems are campaigning to keep this important service.
