John Howson, PCC Candidate

'I was horrified to hear of the stabbing incident in Milton Keynes. The police and CPS must do everything to ensure that those involved are brought to justice as swiftly as possible. Crimes of violence, such as this, should be fast-tracked to court and the message must go out to young people that 'you cannot use a knife if you don't carry one.'

As a victim of a stabbing myself, I know of the consequences for both the victim and the attacker. We must do everything to ensure young people are diverted away from such violence that can wreck lives and families.'
