Lib Dem councillors secure funding for Campbell Park and Old Woughton Ward

Last night, Liberal Democrats secured funding in the Council's 2020/21 budget for improvements around Campbell Park and Old Woughton ward.





£60,000 will go to various schemes around the area, including improving directional signage to Sudgrove House, resurfacing Kenwood Gate and improving directional road markings on Downs Barn.

Campbell Park and Old Woughton Ward councillor Paul Trendall said: "I'm thrilled that we've been able to secure this funding for Campbell Park and Old Woughton. We've been campaigning on some of these issues for a long time, and I'm glad that our residents will finally get to see improvements in their community."





The Liberal Democrats also secured funding to improve streets and roads around the whole of Milton Keynes, including £97,000 for the weeding and clearance of 141 estates and residential areas, and £40,000 for replacing street name plates.
