Milton Keynes Lib Dems - Drinks and a chat

Now that the dust has settled after the election Milton Keynes Liberal Democrats thought this would be a good time to arrange a get-together for old and new members alike.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kerrie and I have been involved with MK Lib Dems since 2010. After a really tough election campaign I think it is time for a chance to reflect on where we are and come together to decide where we are going. I have been inspired by the number of new or rejoining members since the election and this is a great opportunity for us to reinvigorate the local party.

What I suggest is that, for now, we simply try and hold an event for us all to meet and have a good time!

I know of events up and down the country where old and new members are meeting for a pint or a coffee and would like to replicate that in Milton Keynes.

So what I suggest is we all meet at Wetherspoons opposite Chiquitos (just up from the train station) for a chat and a drink. Provisionally the date will be Thursday 18th Junewith the aim to meet at 6.30pm onwards.
