Willen Village Surgery - glimmer of hope
Lib Dem councillors and campaigners lobbying Health Minister, Norman Lamb, about Willen Village surgery last year
Isobel McCall attended the recent packed public meeting organised by Campbell Park Parish Council about the Willen Village surgery. Concerned residents were pleased to hear that there could be solution to the stalemate on the surgery, but a number of things need to fall into place to enable the surgery to re-open as a satellite of Newport Pagnell Medical Centre.
The Homes and Communities Agency needs to agree to enforce a covenant which states that the building can only be used for medical purposes and NHS England needs to agree to some funding. To make sure that NHS England is clear about the strength of public feeling, please write expressing your support to:
Dominic Cox, Chief Executive, NHS England, Charter House, Parkway, Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL8 6JL or e-mail dominic.cox3@nhs.net to support the Newport Pagnell Medical Centre's bid for funding.
E-mail Graham Hyslop at HCA to ask them to enforce the covenant: graham.hyslop@hca.gsi.gov.uk
It is important that your letters or e-mails arrive by mid-March before key decisions have to be taken.
