STOP SEWAGE DUMPING

Raw sewage dumping into our local rivers is a disgrace - and it is getting worse!

In January 2023 the local Conservative MP voted to allow companies to continue dumping sewage at current levels for another 15 years.

Things need to change - the Lib Dems are leading the call for:

  • A sewage tax on water companies to force them to reinvest profits to improve the sewage network and fix leaks.
  • A new Independent Regulator with real powers to stop sewage discharges and issue unlimited fines.

Scott Humphries and the Liberal Democrat Focus Team have been campaigning to stop the disgusting dumping of raw sewage into our rivers, by working with various agencies including the Newport Pagnell Flood Group.
